Bob Young - people & places

1993 another with Sonny Curtis in Nashville. He’s such a nice person. We’ve kept in touch and I was very pleased when The Crickets accepted our invitation to play at the Fender 50th Anniversary ‘Strat Pack’ concert at Wembley Arena which I co-organised in 2004 in aid of the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy charity organisation . Please do check out this amazing organisation that’s supported by the music industry. I’m fortunate to have been associated with it since 1974 when I joined the first committee before it became a registered charity in 1980. One year later in 1981 it opened its first Music Therapy Centre in London and has since grown internationally and now provides over 30,000 music therapy sessions in the UK every year.
